COST PRIMER · SEPARATE THE BILL
There is no single “peptide care” price.
The visit, blood tests and medicine can be three different charges. A headline often shows only one.
Read this chapterWeight-service memberships are one example
The examples in this section concern online weight-management services, not every kind of peptide care.
As of September 2026, most online weight services use a monthly membership, and the medicine is usually billed separately.
Ask for the normal recurring amount, not only the first payment. Ask what happens after an introductory price ends.
Blood tests have their own price
As of September 2026, common blood tests sold directly for cash were advertised at about $29 to $59 each, while bundles with different contents ran from about $75 to $189.
Those cash prices are not insurance prices. A bundle with more items is not automatically a better fit for the care question.
Medicine prices need a label
Manufacturers’ posted cash prices for a month of Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound, Mounjaro or Foundayo were generally about $149 to $499 as of September 2026, with the exact amount varying by product and dose.
Many cash offers and savings cards listed an end date of December 31, 2026, so a current quote may not carry into January.
CHAPTER RECAP
Keep this: write down the visit, lab, medicine and follow-up costs on separate lines. Then add them.
